This is slightly off topic because it's not strictly iPad, but my son is now editing résumés in .pdf format generated by an iPad iOS program called Resume Express. I've helped him with editing, and though RE produces a respectable résumé, it has formatting quirks that make precise editing difficult sometimes. I'd prefer to edit on my MacBookPro but he uses his iPad 2.
What do you recommend as an excellent .pdf editor for iPad and Mac?

P.S. I use Documents to Go for certain formats including MS Word and .pdf, but noticed something today. Even though I can sync my DtG to iPad and MBP, the Desktop version says it can't open .pdf files, while the iPad version can. Any known reason?
