I had that problem too. It happened about a month or two after the screen had cracked, but I don't know if the two were related. However, my friend fixed it by replacing the internal speaker using a kit from ifixit.

I cannot hear my music through my iPad speaker but I can hear it with headphones. I have tried everything but cannot fix this problem. All of the usual solutions have failed. Any ideas?
