Assuming that you have the latest updates for the Kindle App, you go to
the Library listing and then in the upper-left corner of the screen, tap
on the small 3-horizontal-lines icon and then you get a drop-down menu
of things you can do, with the bottom one labeled "Collections."
Tap the word "Collections" and you get to a new screen with a + in a
circle in the upper-right corner -- tap that + and you can create a new
collection, labeling it anything you want. Then once you've created a
new collection, you can tap the collection and you get to a screen
showing all the titles in that collection, with a + in a circle now in
the upper left corner. Tap that and you then get a screen showing all
of the books that are on your device -- you tap on whichever books you
want added to that particular collection and they get added so that they
will show up whenever you want to view what's in that collection.
To simply look at your collections you go to the Library listing in the
Kindle app, then tap on the 3-horizontal-lines icon in the upper left
and tap Collections and you'll see a screen showing all your collections
-- you simply tap one and you can see all the books which are in that
collection.
