My folks are in rural WA. The deer know to stay close to humanity to avoid the hunting in the fall. Them and the neighbors annually or so illegally thin the herd. Otherwise no one keeps their garden or orchards :( I've met people or a guy rather from Boston who argued that most hunters only want a trophy. Jim. I'm on an aside. Just blabbing. In no way denigrating what you said. I love venison. Imo. Better is cougar. I knew a gal that got part of a cougar road kill. Omg. The soup was do yummy. Dark totally dark meat. Wow. I love game meat. My grandpa had a wild game zoo until the government decided his off ramp wasnt needed (he said it was bcuz he was accepting Canadian currency and the govt told him to stop) anyway. Asides aside. Yummy. Venison lol.
