Thanks, Julia! I can imagine how great that must have been to have your Kindle with you on such a long trip. I know just what you mean about having to carry a lot of heavy books, and often it really would be impossible to carry all the ones one would like to have!

I love mine too. I just spent 22 hours traveling home from Europe and would never have made it without my Kindle. Carrying enough books would have been impossible.

It's so light and easy to carry around and the text is nice and dark—a real pleasure to read in bright sunlight. (I purchased a small light that attaches to help read in the dark). And I love the "touch" screen…no buttons, just swipe with a finger! It looks so elegant! So happy for you. I am sure you will get many happy reading days and nights from your new Kindle Touch. :~)
