[iPad] Re: Choosing an iPad

I have the new iPad and the Nook.

I love the Nook for reading outside on my deck and at night. It is lightweight and easy on the eyes.

Incidentally, I 'rooted' my Nook. It is now an e-ink android 2.3 tablet running gingerbread. Tech talk aside, I can run the Kindle and Kobo apps as well as use the native Nook functionality.

I am really an Amazon person but I prefer the Nook form factor and the ability to use it as a tablet sometimes.

Rooting is much better for the Nook color or Noot tablet as then you have a fully functioning tablet and reader.

Not the iPad but a cool second device.
