Hello Gail! Yes we are a very friendly and helpful bunch. I have the Wacom Bamboo stylus for iPad and like it a lot. I also have one from Best Buy from Frogz. It is good also.
I use the Apple smart cover and like it a lot. However at Disneyland yesterday I bought a portfolio cover with a Mickey Mouse embellishment and do like it as well. I love choice! LOL
However to carry it in I have a nice little bag made by Casauri that i bought on ebags.com. It holds my iPad, nook and various little goodies like my hotspot.
Have fun learning about your iPad. We're here for you. You will find there are a lot of nice and knowledgeable folks here.
Yes, and some of us are new to iPad and the group and didn't see the earlier message. This is my first post. It was strange having to go through the password process twice in one week, and the questions were odd.
I asked on another group whether there was a friendly group on the iPad. Having looked at the forum, you are definitely friendlier!
I just bought an iPad2 a week ago today so I have a lot to learn. I want to buy a case and a camera connector. Do you have any advice on which ones to choose? There's a wide range of prices. I thought I wanted a case with a keyboard, but these are relatively expensive. I also learned that there are various types of capacitive styli. I only knew about the inexpensive rubber-tipped ones.Gail in Illinois

We had this discussion earlier in the week here in hopes of avoiding a surprise for the people in the group - that didn't work, LOL.
Any AppStore will trigger the event, free or paid app. Apple typically has release strategy that trickles the update over time so that everyone is hitting those servers at once.
