| I've been fooling around with this a bit more and have found out that if I use the Swiss German layout on the virtual keyboard with the auto-correct turned on, it works just great. If I use the English layout on the virtual keyboard with the auto-correct and QUERTZ, it also works great and although I type in English, I have the Swiss German layout, which is what I am used to. This means that the y and z are where I am used to having them, and I can find the symbols. When I use the external Apple keyboard with dock, however, it is a different story. With the Swiss German layout and the auto-correct turned on, it works perfectly, but with the English layout, no matter whether I have QUERTZ or QUERTY, I have the English layout with the z and y exchanged and all of the symbols in different places than what I'm used to. This means I make many mistakes, so I tried the following, and it works: I change the layout in settings to the Swiss German one and turn off the auto-correct. Then I can type in English with the layout I like, just don't have the auto-correct, but that's not a real problem. So at least now I can use my Apple keyboard and enjoy it instead of going nuts! Carlee -------Original Message------- Maybe someone knows a programmer? I'd love to have it too. It's on apple mail so maybe.... But apple seems obsess with the "sent from my iPad" I doubt built in functionality would include a way to randomize it. But who knows. ---
