The best thing about only having one hand with enough coordination to type is that after 30 years experience in typing with one hand I can hit some pretty amazing speeds on the iPad. I suspect a mini keyboard would be the same. Finally lol my disadvantage works for me! A buddy saw me typing the other day. He was blown away. I use my index and middle finger. I gotta look. I can't not in most cases unless I am on a real key board with another finger I can use. Anyway. I would imagine that someone who is able to touch type with 2 hands could do so also with one less. But I just guess. An untested theory is that my right hand is overcompensating for my left and it's coordination is making up the difference. (FYI I was born with a closed-lipped schizencephaly on the right side of my brain, a mild case) anyway. I guess I just wanted to day that to this dude, typing on iPad keyboard is a joy, finally, typing is fun, andi wonder if a similarly small keyboard would be just as good. Originally I thought I wanted akeyboard with my iPad. A few days in I realized that typing on it was way too fun!!!
