Re: [iPad] iPad 2 and vga adaptor

Well, that's just my experience. I was able to display my home screen, and the icon that was created for the new project for the ipad app, where normally I would have to use displayout on a jailbroken ipad1 from Cydia. Even the newly created app that doesn't support mirroring on the ipad1 was able to project that newly created app on the ipad2.

It maybe the case for an app needs to be supported to be able to project anything on the ipad1, but so far, the case is different on the ipad2.

I also tried the component on the ipad2, and it only projects to my tv when I open keynote or videos. Which means, with the component, it has to be app supported.

This is from my experience first hand. And just to be sure it wasn't a goof, I tried it on all three of my ipad 2 with the HDMI adapter and VGA Adapter. All works, all displayed of What You See Is What You Get. :)

Not true. Any program you want to display through projection actually
has to support it or it won't project.
