Sorry for your experience. I have had Sony TVs and lots of other stuff for decades without problem. I got rid of my huge Sony TV that was 25 years old -- revolutionary in its day -- not because anything was wrong with it but because I wanted the new technology.
I have had my current Sony Bravia for many years and its great. Hope Sony isn't getting careless.
