Re: [iPad] Tips To Maximize Battery Life And Battery Lifespan Of Your iPhone, iPad And Other iDevices, According To Apple

Normally I have 60% left. But those days when I need it suck. I'd sacrifice thin and light for less scrambling around on the days where it's needed. Easily. And pay more too.

They gave us extra screen options.

I think we need extra battery options.

Every $100 is extra screen or extra battery or extra hard drive.

I think we are mature enough to handle the decision grid.

I agree. The phone is so thin that if it got thicker it wont matter. Ive lost count how many times Ive heard people say on various forums that they want more battery, not thinner and lighter every year. I dont have an issue myself, but I dont hammer my phone all day either

I wonder what percentage of iOS users would pay more for s battery twice as thick with twice the capacity? I'd think a significant percentage would. Like 40% or more.

Battery.  But both, really.  If the device can use less battery, that's upping the time-between-recharge value.

Apple itself has devoted a page laying out a few tips to improve the battery life and battery lifespan of iPhone, iPad and other iDevices.

That's helpful, but the only thing the great majority of users will ever care about is inherent device capacity.
