Never discard your CDs. They take up very little space, and they're perfect backup.
It's a one way street. In order to get the record companies on board in the early iTunes Store negotiations they had that as a way to combat piracy to convince the record companies that an iTunes Store and iPod model was safe. What I'd suggest is to set up the new computer and reimport the CDs. What id do is goto TPB and torrent the files. YMMV~KLM\\ "The one who follows the crowd will usually get no further than the crowd. The one who walks alone, is likely to find himself in places no one has ever been." ~ Albert Einstein //No these songs were on my computer from CD's i had. When i loaded iTunes on the computer it took them and put them on my iPad , but now it wont give them up. Thanks iPad for taking them and not giving them back. lol
