I'll feel kindly toward Bluetooth when my ears tell me to. State of the art Bluetooth - what's on the shelves now - what I've heard - gives poor quality sound.
When there's no difference between the audio fidelity of Bluetooth and Airplay, all will be well. Well, all will be a lot better. All wireless seems to me inherently buggy.
Bluetooth is generally one to one device communication.Bluetooth version 4 specification are ready for higher bandwidth. In addition, LoRa or Low Radiation specification for solar charged battery devices using a different Bluetooth ( with extremely low bandwidth) for Internet of Things are being put through trials. In short, kindly do not underestimate Bluetooth.

Bluetooth is short. You pair devices. I think the interference would be minimum. Unlike wifi that's meant to spread over long distances.~KLM\\ "Antisocial behavior is a trait of intelligence in a world full of conformists" ~Nikola Tesla //Could well be.I wonder how if BT is everywhere, how that will pan out? As how wifi 2.4 is for many in towns.

I do think that the long term push is wireless so that may be Bluetooth~KLM\\ "Antisocial behavior is a trait of intelligence in a world full of conformists" ~Nikola Tesla //It sound like an extreme change, but in reality it isn't. If the purpose was to push Bluetooth as the go to connection, um, no thanks.
