Yes, I have a couple external battery packs that I travel with, just in case I run out of battery. Luckily I've always had places to recharge - in our car, in our RV or in a hotel room when we are out and about. I'm just tired of the sluggish operation of the old iPad2. But in a pinch it usually gets the job done! :-)
