Try deleting your gmail account on the iPad and adding it again. Make sure the settings are the same as on the iPhone.

I'm sort of new here and haven't posted before. I use gmail and the Google calendar. Recently the calendar has not been showing recent events on the iPad that i put on it on my Mac. The only change is that i recently updated to ios 7.1. Strangely, the calendar syncs fine to my iPhone. Gmail seems to be working well. All the settings under Google/mail, etc. are correct.

Any suggestions to correct this?
