[iPad] Re: LastPass

I've been using LastPass for several days now on both MacBook Pro and iPad 4. I subscribed to the $12/year service for a year to try it. I had been using 1Password for a few months before without problems but ran across LastPass and tried it because it featured a Security Check that gives you a readout of the current condition of all the websites you input re the HeartBleed error. The HeartBleed Security check generates a list of sites on your list that were known to be affected, when they updated their security certification, the age of your PW and if you are "Safe". What you should know is that it will give you the age and "safeness" of your PW based on when you added the site to LP, so if you have an old pre-HeartBleed password just added to LP, it reads it as safe. However, you will know when you added it, how old it is and the age of the site certificate update, so you'll know if you need to change it.
I like both but will stick with LP for now just because I've put a lot of data into it with newly changed passwords. The only difficulty I've had with LP on my iPad is that sometimes it seems to be slow or even incompletely finish downloading/accessing a website. It seems to have to do with characteristics of each site, but most are fine. Even  if it can't access or properly fill in data to a site, you still have the User ID and PW data in the program and can do it manually. It recommends using Firefox on a Mac, which I already had. When you go to a new site using either Firefox on a Mac or LP on iPad, or change PWs on a known site, it prompts you to Save the site or the PW change. If I run across any other problems or significant features I'll repost.

"I have LastPass premium and use their app. You can also access your passwords via your iPad browser (Safari) with free or premium.

I see that 1Password is having a HeartBleed sale on their app and desktop soft
