Re: [iPad] will not turn on!

I've never had a freeze on my iPad 4 nor my iPad Air.  The crashes on both have been few & the usual times that I've had to reboot are because of glitches with my Comcast internet service.  Both machines have over 150 apps, 4500 pictures, & several videos.  I hope your experience will now improve!

And yet, one would hope that the Air, having come out a relatively long time after iOS7, and with a much more powerful cpu, would be free from the need to force reboots.

I've had so much experience on my iPad 4 (the pre-Air model) of freezes, crashes, and need to force reboots that I finally wiped it completely, back to factory settings, and loaded just a tiny selection of the apps I'd loaded formerly.  That was just a few days ago, but so far, aside from a few mail-app crashes, there's been little trouble.  Fingers crossed.

Thanks, I was not aware of the "re-boot" procedure. All set now!

I would plug it in to wall power, then re-boot it (On/Off and Home buttons held down until the Apple logo appears, then let it complete its re-boot, then turn it back on.
