I cannot see it at all actually. Bigger screen, yes, useful, but too heavy, cumbersome, and more cost. If just JUST an iPad it would have a small market I feel, no more functionality.
I checked the MacRumours thread tonight, saw a good post form a girl, Jess. Make the big iPad a screen for an MBA or MBP that is sold with no screen
Cheaper MBA/P and off course you also need to buy the screen, the iPad Pro. Then you have Apple's answer to the Surface, except its a real, built for purpose tablet (iPad) and a real, built for purpose true desktop OS, (MBA/P). A bonus of this innovative idea is that it would certainly attract some iPad users that use a PC to move to OSX (ironically something I am trying hard to do, but struggling!)
Plus, press a button, and the OSX screen goes off and the iOS screen goes on. Nice. And include some file transfer function if the user wants to share a file with both.

I think a larger iPad would work for some. I love my iPad mini, so wouldn't switch.

Read a thread on MacRumours.
What does everyone think of the rumoured, larger, iPad Pro?
Will it happen?
Will it be a bigger iPad or be a bit more than just bigger?
Will it be popular?
Thoughts?
