I guess data roaming is best left to the masters of the universe to whom money is no object.  At least for US folks.  Does the rest of the world get as screwed as we do for international cellular connectivity?

Maybe satellite connectivity is super expensive for the cruise lines.  Or perhaps it is so slow and spotty that they overcharge to discourage use.  Or perhaps it's greed, pure and simple.

That is about as vague as any pricing plan could be. The description tells you absolutely nothing other that you will have access to the Internet, no matter how slow that connection is. Have you ever used a 10 kbps connection? I would rather get a root canal.

Also, for those using an iPad, smartphone, or other e-readers with Internet connectivity, you can connect on our Wi-If Network. The pricing structure for this is the same as the standard Wi-If pricing.
