Re: [iPad] How email has changed with smart devices

It was a few million users I believe, UK, and parts of Europe from memory

The reason I have been using Yahoo is that it partnered with my ISP in 2007, although it had the cleanes webmail UI IMO

I've been using Gmail for eight years and I can't remember any problems.  I quit using Yahoo a long time ago.

LOL, like me just now

I use webmail at home, gave up on email clients  years ago. My email is Yahoo despite it being xtra.co.nz, and the only issues we ever had supporting it (I have Yahoo management access) was on email client software, but mid last year its been nothing but trouble, and as I speak they have locked out 160,000 of our customers due to hacking or potential hacking. So, its a bit hopeless. Gmail had a number of custonmers the other day without access. Hotmail has had issues. Thats why a week or more  ago I asked what Apple Mail is like, although got no replies. I digress!

Mobile now accounts for the majority of mail. Analysis from Litmus shows 51 percent of mail messages were opened on a mobile device. Desktops account for just 31 percent while webmail is 18 percent.
