Apple has never tried to force me to use the Internet for notes. Where did you ever get that idea? I've been using the notes app for years with no problems and I use it every day. Maybe if you spent more time finding out what you're doing wrong and less time blaming Apple then you might be well ahead of the game.

I don't get why Apple is forcing us to associate our notes to the internet. Maybe I don't understand, but it's silly to force this unnecessary aspect of Notes.
I just put the useless app in the back of my iPad Air and use Daedulus to quickly type a note to myself. The note never disappears so far.
I went to both Google and Yahoo through Notes. None of my notes were there.
