After you click edit you have to tap on the photo(s) you want to delete before you can use the delete function.

I have an iPad 4 running OS 6.1.3. It looks like I can delete individual songs under the Music app when I go to the Songs tab, but is there any way to delete Albums or also Podcasts under Video? I don' see a way so far.

Also, under Photos app, I can delete certain photos but not a few that I need to delete (i.e., the Delete button is grayed out with only certain photos). What is the difference between them and how do I delete those that won't delete this way?
