I can see that, David.. For me, and many, its "where is that now" Bit of a pain actually, and that the metro UI was forced onto us rather than transitioning it over.
An analogy perhaps if MacOS UI was updated to be practically iOS in full look and feel. MacOS is still there, but you need to re learn where stuff is.. There is little issue with the underlying OS in terms of featues and security and stability. Like Win 7
I know of many who will move to MacOS from Windows now. These are geeks no less. I also dont want a tablet based OS on my desktop. But my 14yo daughter loves it, as its cool!
