Mac has details, PC shows more to the naked eye. Control Panel, Task Manager, Services, etc, but you don't need to go to those depths, but if you do, they are there.

I don't see Win causes too many clicks, but that it has more stuff in your eye, it may seem so. Always a quick and easy way to do stuff. The easier user experience I feel, comes from MacOS exposing less detail to the eye.
