I have close to 20 filters ("Rules") in my iCloud mail account, none of which have anything to do with spam, all of which have to do with putting incoming mail into appropriately selected mailboxes for my review.

I have *ONE* filter (Rule) on my Mac for dealing with spam -- SpamSieve.
