I've been using an inverter for over 15 years and it fits the bill perfectly and it's also the most inexpensive solution.  Nothing is cheaper than an inverter and it has the extra benefit of being able to charge anything.

  Many vehicles now come with a 110-volt outlet in the vehicle.
  Even high-quality 12-volt charging cords for vehicles cost less than most good inverters.
