iWaffle beta version 1.21a   is still in development. There are heat dissipation issues that are affecting the iPad camera. Important note that the mini iWaffle on the iPhone 7 has been abandoned. Excessive battery usage...........

Jim, I have waffles almost every morning.  If my iPad or MBP could do that, I would be thrilled - one less gadget to travel with.

I have discovered that my Apple devices were simply not intended to make waffles. Or do a lot of other things.
So I don't try to do those things.
