When you tap on it there should be an option to open it in iBooks on the top right of your screen. It appears just for a moment so you have to be quick. If not then just press and hold for more choices.

> I think you need to be specific about what sort of attachment it is -- if it's simply plain text, then use the normal iPad method to select what you want to copy to Notability and tap the Copy button, then open Notability and paste it there.
