We use to have hawks in the summer afternoons flying around our neighborhood. They were great for getting rid of all the pigeons we had.  My little Bob Barker is only 8.5 lbs.  I always worried when he was in the backyard that he'd get picked up by a hawk, so I always brought him inside if I noticed one circling overhead.  I haven't seen pigeons or hawks around the neighborhood in a couple years.

where the cats hide when the eagles come out.......there
are even reports of small dogs being "airlifted" by
