The album is created when you import photos to your iPad using the Camera Connection Kit.

They are in the All Imported Album, if you are talking about photos that you have imported from your camera via CCK..That is where I found hundreds of photos that I thought I had deleted and were taking up a LOT of space on my 32g iPad 3..... Millie
