AT&T sends an Email with the subject:
AT&T Automatic Data Plan Renewal Successful
The term is 30 days so no it won't renew on the same day each month, since not all months are 30 days.

Verizon plans end 30 days after the plan was started.   I always get an email Invoice from Verizon within minutes of when I start a new 30 day period or terminate,  and those Invoices show what I paid.  You should be getting the same from ATT,  I would think.

Do all plans end on the same day at AT&T?  I wish they would put it on our bill so we know!

I don't know if AT&T is the same as Verizon (which I have), but it renews on the day before the next plan starts.  If you waited until the last day, you waited a day too late.
