judith,
given that you brought up the subject of unwanted phone calls, i've noticed that over the past year or so we've been getting a big spike in unwanted phone calls even though our number remains listed in the do-not-call registry...it's as though the registry doesn't work anymore...does anybody know what's up with that?

We screen our calls and who is calling also shows up on the TV if is on. More than half the calls are robo calls or calls or something we do not want to answer or we would be answering the phone all the time.
Judith BarnettSent from my ipadI refuse to use the cell phone at home. You want to call me, call the house phone. However, we do have a rule, who ever has a cat on their lap, is exempt from getting up to get the phone. LOL!

Actually, no.
I get up to answer the phone.

I get up to answer the phone, when its still on my wife's desk, because she used it last before going out.
