RE: [iPad] Reading books on the iPad versus the Kindle?

The iPad 4 is not the mini, it is the successor to the 3, not a whole lot  of difference but some. Look at the connector, it is the new one like the new iPhone has. There were a few other differences as well.

I am confused.   I recall the successor to the iPad2… it has Retina display and the A6 chip.  I see no difference to what you are calling the iPad4.   ????

The iPad4 (or new retina iPad) replaced the iPad3 with the upgrades I mentioned in an earlier post.  The Mini has the A5 chip & the 4 has the A6 chip.  They were announced on the same day.

The  "4"  as people seem to be calling the Mini,  does not have Retina display. I also thought it has the same A5 processor as the 2 ????

The 4 is also a BIG improvement versus the 2.  There is the retina display, faster processors, Siri, better cameras & more.  I like my 4 better than each of the previous models.
