Re: [iPad] Fight! Amazon Takes the Gloves off Against Apple’s iPad Mini

Reading reviews on the Kindle, I find it comes with a library that shows all the books you have bought on Amazon that you can download w/o downloading any apps. You also get a list of apps you previously bought in the Amazon App Store.

Doesn't it require apps to read or buy or browse?

Isn't the Kindle mainly for book reading and reading email?

I like Amazon and their ecosystem, especially since they've made parts of it work on the iPad. I have a Kindle Fire from last year, but ended up giving it to my wife for book/magazine reading.
