I did not upgrade to IOS5 because of all the problems I had with Windows7 and iTunes, connecting to my devices.. I finally got it working right (if I do things a certain way) and I'm afraid to change anything. Wi-fi was never an issue, just getting iTunes to recognize the iPad2 and the iPod Touch.
iTunes is stored in so many places that I'm not sure just what to back up and where it is located. I could never find it all if I back up the entire drive.

They'll ask you to restart.Their ultimate solution is to reinstall the OS.Which may not be a horrible ideaMale sure everything is backed up.Do it before you goto bed do you can start the resync while you're sleeping

Did Wifi somehow get turned off in Settings? Or Airplane Mode turned on?For some reason the wi-fi on my my iPad2 is not working today. As far as I can tell, everything is set up correctly but the wi-fi icon is not showing on the iPad and when I try to access the internet I get a message that it cannot connect to the internet. My wi-fi is working because I'm able to get online with the Touch and my computer. I reset the iPad by holding down both buttons until the red slider bar appeared and Apple logo came up but the wi-fi still won't connect. I tried putting in my password again too. Any other suggestions?pat h - oh
