Try googling "organizing iPad apps" , you will find lots of help including utube videos

Also the iPad app store has iPad tips.

Hello group,

I'm new to iPads, (and to this group) but am a long long time Mac user.

I just bought my first iPad (an iPad 2 WiFi w/3G) a last week, and am trying to "love" it. I think part of my problem is that I'm trying to make it act like my iMacs and MacBooks, and I realize that's not what it's all about.

So as I work through a new learning process, I have a question about all the little software/program icons that populate the screen of the iPad. First, is that what they're called? Second, is there any way to organize them, either alphabetically or by type?

I look forward to learning a lot from this group and thank the person who sent me the invitation to join!
