They sell management products that make sure it isn't, and that you have the latest security updates. One reason to not allow jailbroken phones it that you can't assure they will get security updates.

Androids are worse...no consistent set of features or really standardized OS. Now that Microsoft is becoming irrelevant, I predict the next big opportunity for malicious hackers will be the Android Market.

You must realize, I work for the Emergency Management Section of a Fire Department. The department dispatches for Fire and EMS. A virus or Trojan on the network could actually make a life-or-death difference. Or a patient's confidential HIPPA data could get disclosed.

Much different from a home network. I know my grandsons have jailbroken their iPods, but I use my iPad on my employer's network.
