Informative. Thanks.
The six-weeks delay for these devices is giving us a chance to become aware of these little problems before we make the final, fatal leap.
This may be a good reason to get a month-by-month no-interest-installment-payment contract ("Next", in ATT language), instead of a two-year contract. That way, it will be simple to replace the phone whenever a new model comes out.
Maybe the 7 will be made of titanium, instead of aluminum - and cost 50% more. Or stainless steel - and weigh more. Sigh.
Saw an article about the thin, new phone bending after you sit on it for hours(!)

Bad idea. I found that out a few versions ago when I broke the iFrog case on my 4S after making the mistake of putting it in the back pocket of my jeans, forgetting and sitting down. (Wasn't very comfortable either.) And I'm a lot less heavy than your average guy.
I guess the Apple engineers didn't think to subject the 6 to hours of being pressed into a chair by a warm, soft, rounded 165-lb. (more or less) weight. We suffered through antennagate. Are we about to be subjected to fannygate?
