Are you talking Continuity (calls) or handoff (safari, etc carrying over to another device)

I know less than zero about how such things work, but Handoff only works for me with LTE enabled.  I have to switch it off in order to connect to an AT&T Microcell that I use to boost my cellular signal.  Bottom line is a trade off that I have to make.
