I didn't know there was an iPad version of the app.  I've been using the iPhone version all this time. :)

If you only have an iPad, you're out of luck. I could not use the iPhone version of the Apple Store app on my iPad. It would either switch me to the iPad version of the Apple Store app or have me download the iPad version of the app.
