I'm still using iOS 6 but do the iPad notes in iOS 7 have more than one account like all iPhones have?  That was a problem for me about a year ago.  I didn't realize there was more than one account.

I don't have trouble with notes disappearing.

How many accounts do you sync Notes with? (iCloud? Gmail? Yahoo?)
