Heavy? Maybe, but compare the iPad-Air with the original iPad and you
would say the same about the original iPad, yet when that was the only
model available people flocked to it in droves.
I'm not convinced that a 13" iPad would have to be much heavier (if at
all )than an original iPad, which is a weight that I happily enjoyed for
over 2 years. :-)
It would certainly not be heavier than a notebook, even a MacBookAir,
since it also has 13" screen (or larger) plus a keyboard.
It'll certainly be interesting to see when/if Apple does release a 13"
iPad and how heavy it turns out to be.
It's easy to think of the musicians as a niche market, but if you think
of every rock band which uses set lists, every singer/songwriter who
performs, every school (middle, high, college) band and orchestra as
well as the countless numbers of church musicians, the number of
musicians in the U.S.A. is actually quite huge -- factor in the amateurs
as well as the professionals and you'll be amazed at the numbers!
We're not such a small niche. :-)
