Re: [iPad] iPad Pro (rumoured)

Also architects working on large PDFs or comic/magazine fanatics would love a larger screen.

My Mom has Parkinsons and cannot use an iPhone 5c and a 7" is tough. The 10" was easier for her.

She does have computing needs and sitting down at the Windows machine has lots of issues though she slogs through it. At 75 with her eyes a 16-18" laying flat would be ideal for her for many computing purposes. Or landscape with a keyboard and mouse. the iOS UI much friendlier than Windows with mouse or finger.

I hooked up my nexus 10 to my USB hub with mouse, Mattias keyboard and the 10" landscape was dwarfed by the 20" ish keyboard.

There is a market for a 18-20" with a surface style cover. It would be for carrying in a backpack or just setting up in a stand to have a iOS device. There are people that would rather have a light thin device instead of a laptop to do casual business task including remoting into Windows and Mac and linux machines (which is where the mouse comes in handy.)

There is room for a 7", 10", 16-20", a phablet, a iPhone, iTouch - many kinds of users. Some business users and musicians use iOS devices in the same spot for hours on a table or stand. I am very dissapointed by the Surface Pro and Win 8 Pro monstrosities - there is a place for laptop sized iPads. The guy on the plane next to me had been a Mac user forever but was watching Sherlock and gaming on a bulky 17-19" Win 7 laptop. I am sure he or many would appreciate the lack of bloat and longer batter an iOS device offers compares to Windows or Mac.

the first leg of my flight to LA from BWI my Macbook Pro ran out of juice halfway through trip. My iPad air handled a much longer return flight (2 legs long stopover) with plenty of juice to spare. In fact I had to pay FORwifi twice on Southwest to use both devices, so in the end I wish I just though to stick to  iPad Air whole first flight.

Yeah I know first world problems (see graphics)

Read a thread on MacRumours.

What does everyone think of the rumoured, larger, iPad Pro?

Will it happen?
Will it be a bigger iPad or be a bit more than just bigger?
Will it be popular?

Thoughts?
