It's rated for 400 watts, and has terminals for a 12 volt battery. Also has a cig lighter plug. Cig lighter produces less watts. I use it to power a air pump for my fish tank in our coach when moving. Nice unit for $34.

Just so I get this straight:
You plug a 400 watt inverter into a circuit whose fuse will blow if more than 120-180 watts is drawn from it (cigarette lighter circuits are fused for 10 or 15 amps)?
