Can someone point me to a list of the "official" names or numbers of the
various models of iPads (regular size) and when they came out?
Mine is the model that came out in spring 2012, which I understood at
the time was model 3. Since then I think two more models have come out,
which I would call 4 and 5.
But -- I looked on http://www.macsales.com/ for a previously owned iPad
for a friend. The only ones I see are what they call iPad 2. Is that
older than mine, or has the numbering system changed?
http://www.apple.com/ipad/compare/ seems to have only the current models.
Looking for a list with all of them, including dates.
