Arm, that is a joke. A fully fledged Windows experience where you cannot mix and match apps due to Arm and Intel being different.

Someone on /. Said that very same thing. I think it's deeper. They should have skipped the arm version. Not confused ppl and focused on a full. Fledged windows experience with all the legacy apps on a tablet with touch UI. Then the app selection could have compared to the App Store or play store. 

Then again the xbox1 lost money. The 360 I think broke even. So... Maybe they can afford this ?

Heavens.  A one-billion-dollar loss.  Just goes to show how intangible consumer appeal is.  The Surface is an attractive little machine.  Certainly overpriced, tho, since Apple already had such a big lead.  They should have sold it at a loss, Amazon-wise, and built on the market share.
