Re: [iPad] Re: Win8

There are various third party apps to backup, none of which is as complete or as user friendly as iCloud, although you can easily full backup and restore. Same as I see it, or at least in my opinion is the value of iTunes as a sync/backup/management tool. While their integration far exceeds Apple, you are correct, they do not have a nice cloud solution for those that prefer to backup that way.

Or maybe they just don't want to catch up on their missing features."  Feature as in singular. Which are available from a choice of apps, just not default in the OS

We talk about iCloud backups all the time and I have yet to see Google implement this feature into Android. Maybe Samsung has their own? Or maybe they just don't want to catch up on their missing features.

Very incremental, just. Its well behind, and many features it last got were catchups from long existing features on the other platform. I am sure that is noticed, which is why this time next month the share value will have halved. Its slowly evolving but the other OS has evolved strongly, so dare I say it, that if you want intuitive, integration and just works easier with less effort, the dark side already has that. I think the share price reflects that. Apple has not done anything wrong, it just hasn't done anything, the gap is wide and getting wider. I thought ease of use was one of Apple's principles?

iWatch I guess will be the next device. All platforms will have that, so nothing really new there, but I see it as novelty value.

iOS is incremental. The next thing won't be it. The next thing will be a device

I hope so, but I don't think so. Others are and iOS seems to have ceased.

Yep, think different and create, but who does that now?

Whoa. While correct the real money is in think different and create rather than copy and improve marginally.

His kids can not own iPods for example. You can't copy and improve on what you don't use and don't respect.
