It was spam! It was just French spam. The person sent this to a whole list of groups of which we were simply one of. 

The subject matter just happened to be  a closer match than any of the others. 

Believe me as a blogger myself, I often get accused of being a spammer when I promote my stories, so I am extra sensitive to the subject. 

This was NOT a false positive - it was a post by an automated Spam process; not by an actual person posting a link.

He is forwarding an article on how to boost Smartphone battery life.  I guess if you don't know French you'd consider it spam but it isn't.
