Me too. I use my iPad to mess with photos on a larger screen before usually sharing them somehow. But I always keep my originals intact on the original source as that's what I use to get them to my photo library. I don't think I have ever imported photos from my iPad to my mac. I have grabbed a few off photo stream however.

Exactly.
It is a display medium as far as I am concerned (a major reason for buying it in my case). NOT a storage medium.
